Visitors to our online store will see that with the airshow season now complete, we’ve added some new merchandise, all of which is now available for order online.
Many people who came to see us at one of the many shows we attended this summer will have seen some of the new items, and in many cases made purchases. With the scorching summer we’ve just had, our new embroidered polo shirts went down very well, proving to be one of our best sellers this season.
With a limited stock available at the shows, our fetching timber watches also proved popular and were frequently sold out.
For those looking for the ideal gift for young family members, Bertie the bear teddy has proved something of a hit too.
However, we’ve also added a new 1/72 die cast model to our store. The aircraft depicted is an FB-VI ‘Black Rufe’ from 418 Sqn RCAF, RAF Holmsley South in April 1944. This was the personal aircraft of Sqn Ldr Robert Allen Kipp, DSO, DFC & Flt Lt Peter Huletsky and would make a welcome addition to any Mosquito enthusiast’s bookshelf.

My mother, who is now 94, used to make Mosquitoes at Lawrence’s in Sawbridgeworth during the war.
