The People’s Mosquito is proud to announce Mosquito International Day – a collaboration with The Polish Heritage Flight and The de Havilland Aviation Museum to honour international aircrew and the support teams that made the De Havilland Mosquito such a success in WWII.
Held at the home of the prototype aircraft’s development, Salisbury Hall near St. Albans, the day will feature guest speakers and our VIP veteran, 105 year-old Colin Bell, DFC BEM.
As well as admission to the superb museum, your ticket allows access to the upstairs VIP area and seated theatre, where you will be able to mingle with invited guests and experience two wonderful talks. Each talk will last 1 hour, including a Q/A session, with opportunities for book dedications and chat with fellow aviation enthusiasts.
A remembrance ceremony will also be included as part of the day, as will be exhibits by various Mosquito related associations.
Tickets are priced at £35 per person for the day – to include Museum admission and all presentations.

Since finishing a twenty year career in the British Army in 2001 he has published widely on the Second World War in Europe, North Africa and Asia.
He was the BBC’s historical adviser for the VJ commemorations in 2015 and 2020 and is a regular contributor to documentary films on aspects of the war.
Dr Sarah-Louise Miller is a historian of war and conflict, specialising in air and sea power, military intelligence and defence and security. She is a lecturer at the Defence Studies Department at King’s College London, and teaches at the Defence Academy of the UK.
